Fujairah police increased their surveillance efforts between November 28 and December 2 during the UAE National Day holiday. During this period, 16 men were arrested and 27 vehicles were seized for violating traffic regulations. Authorities reported a total of 270 traffic accidents during the holiday celebrations.
