
January 4, New York: Trump to be sentenced in a Hush Money Case. The New York Judge was on site with President-elect Donald Trump’s hush Money Case on Friday, where he was sentenced to 10 days, which is before his inauguration on the 20th of January, and where he didn’t wanna go to jail time.
Trump the former President and the only president who has been convicted of a crime, can appear in person or either virtually for his 10 January sentencing. Judge Merchan upheld Trump’s conviction which had been put on hold by the judiciary rejecting various motions to take Trump’s lawyers out of the site.
Due to this, we will be seeing Trump entering the white house being a convicted person. The 78-year-old has already faced four years in prison but legal experts before he won the November elections.
In a predicament, the judge said, “It seems proper at this juncture to make known the court’s inclination to not impose any sentence of incarceration”, and the prosecutors suggested that jail time wouldn’t be a practical suggestion.
Trump in a recent statement about the current situation said, “This illegitimate political attack is nothing but a rigged charade” and called Judge Merchan a, “Radical Partisan” and also added, “knowing unlawful goes against our constitution and if allowed to stand we would be standing at the end of Presidency”.
Trump also faced racketeering charges in Georgia over his alleged efforts to turn the 2020 election results in the southern state, the case will most likely upheld in the White House with the upcoming Presidency.
