Expanding the Rail Network
Etihad Rail is developing an extensive 900-kilometer network spanning the UAE. In addition to the rail advancements, Abu Dhabi plans to launch driverless Urbanloop pods by the end of the year. These autonomous pods are designed to carry up to eight passengers and are set to revolutionize urban transportation. Besides this, 44 autonomous robo-taxis are already operational in popular locations such as Yas Island, Saadiyat, and Masdar City.
