Dubai is set to revolutionize urban travel with the introduction of flying taxis between Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). The new service will begin in the first half of 2027, promising to reduce travel time to less than 15 minutes.
This innovative transportation mode comes from an agreement with Joby Aviation, a company specializing in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Besides connecting Dubai and RAK, Joby Aviation will also operate the first flying taxi service within Ras Al Khaimah itself.
