Dubai Municipality is embarking on an initiative to create two new ‘Hewi’ spaces located in Al Barsha and Muhaisnah, aimed at boosting community interaction among residents. These innovative spaces will serve as vibrant hubs where people can socialize, relax, and immerse themselves in public life.
The project is backed by a partnership agreement witnessed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai. The collaboration involves Dubai Municipality, the General Construction Company, and Binghatti, who will together develop these community-focused environments.
Features of the Hewi Spaces
- Modern design: The spaces are crafted to foster connections within urban settings.
- Community focus: Well-planned recreational spots are available for families and individuals.
- Enhanced quality of life: These areas promote relaxation and social activities.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s ongoing efforts to enhance community cohesion and improve living standards throughout the emirate. It also emphasizes the city’s dedication to sustainable urban development and building inclusive public places.
Such projects reinforce Dubai’s reputation as a dynamic, people-friendly destination, ensuring urban spaces are inviting and vibrant for all residents.
