Dubai is preparing for the Eid Al Adha 2025 celebrations with several exciting updates for residents and visitors alike. The city will continue its cherished tradition of firing the Eid Al Adha cannon at six designated locations, a practice that holds deep cultural and social importance. Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Tarish Al Amimi, Commander of the Dubai Police Cannons, emphasized that these sites aim to deliver a memorable experience for all.
Family-Friendly Beaches and Safety Measures
Dubai Municipality has set aside four public beaches exclusively for families during the Eid holidays to foster a welcoming environment. Recognizing the expected influx of visitors, a team of 126 qualified rescue personnel will be on duty to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Parking and Traffic Management
- Free public parking will be available from June 5 to 8, making it easier for visitors to access city attractions. However, multi-level parking terminals will still require payment.
- Variable toll rates will be implemented at Salik toll gates during the holiday period to efficiently manage traffic flow.
These carefully planned initiatives highlight Dubai’s dedication to creating a joyful and safe environment for families celebrating the Festival of Sacrifice. With cultural traditions upheld, family-friendly spaces provided, and enhanced public services, Dubai promises an enjoyable and smooth Eid holiday experience for all.
