Dubai has announced a new parking regulation set to begin in August. Approximately 2,100 parking spaces across 59 sites near mosques in Dubai will be converted into paid parking areas operating 24 hours a day.
This initiative is organized in cooperation with IACAD to enhance the management of parking infrastructure in the city. Despite the new paid system, parking will remain free during prayer times at the mosques, ensuring convenience for worshippers.
Objectives of the New Parking System
- Regulate parking around mosque areas
- Reduce congestion in heavily frequented zones
- Improve the overall parking experience for drivers
Drivers are advised to stay informed about the changes and adhere to the new rules to avoid fines. This paid parking scheme reflects Dubai’s ongoing efforts to enhance city management and public facilities more efficiently.
This change will significantly impact residents and visitors who regularly attend mosques for prayers and other activities. For more updates, stay tuned to Questiqa World News.
