Taylor Swift presented the award for Best Country Album to Beyoncé. Beyoncé came on stage in er beautiful golden Paisley dress. During her premiere ceremny she won her first award of the night, taking hhome her first country Grammy for best country duo/group perfomace for “II MOST WANTED” featuring Miley Cyrus.
The Grammy Award was the 67th Annual Grammy Awards on February 2 2025. Kendrick lamar sweeped off all the categories in which he was nominated. Kendrick Lamar, the influential hip-hop artist rapper also scored a significant win. He won the Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Not Like Us” as well as Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for the same track. He also wont the Best Music Video for “Not Like Us.” He dedicated both his winnings to Los Angeles in the wake of the wildfires that burned the city into ashes last month.
Chappel Roan was named best new artist, capping a rocket-ship year. Chappell Roan, won the best new artist.
With Charlie XCX winning the Best Dance/Electrnic Album for “Brat” and Best Dance Recording for “Von Dutch” The instagram viral song “Espresso” and best remixed recording for “Espresso” (Mark Ronson x FNZ Working Late Remix)” by Sabrina Carpenter won Best Pop Solo Perfromance award. The singer won Best Pop Vocal Album for “Short n’ Sweet”, marking her first ever Grammy wins.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars won the ward for best pop duo/group performance for “Die with a Smile.”
Shakira won Best Latin Pop Album for “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” Members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department were honored on stage before the final Grammy was awarded.
