ACC President Mohsin Naqvi has firmly denied reports suggesting that he issued an apology to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) regarding the Asia Cup 2025 trophy dispute. According to Naqvi, no such apology has been made.
Instead, Naqvi extended a direct invitation to the BCCI to collect the Asia Cup 2025 trophy in person. He stated that the trophy is currently held at the ACC office in Dubai and is available for India to retrieve at their convenience.
This statement comes amid ongoing discussions and misunderstandings around the trophy’s possession for the upcoming tournament, clarifying any rumors of conflict or formal apologies between the cricket boards.
