January 5, Auckland: Air New Zealand cancels Flight due to a Bomb Threat. The Auckland Airport is the centre of a major security threat which is said to be involving a bomb. This is a flight which was from Auckland to Dunedin involving New Zealand.

The passengers were evacuated and the whole flight was searched by the officials including the luggage, the whole operation was disrupted, and after searching no official threat was found, the officials highlighted the aviation safety procedures.

The Airbus A320 scheduled as flight NZ677 from Auckland to Dunedin was delayed at first after a threat received not the Airsport Security service through a phone call. While Air New Zealand staff worked structurally to mitigate discomfort, some passengers expressed dissatisfaction.

A Dunedin man described the atmosphere as “distressing,” with some passengers fearing the worst, such as a bomb threat. Passengers were gathered in a terminal room for hours without sufficient.

As time followed food was provided, including snacks and sandwiches, some passengers reported long waits without adequate news to the awaited passengers.
