Dubai and other parts of the UAE are set to experience intense heat and rain showers on July 15, 2025. Temperatures are expected to soar to 49ºC in Abu Dhabi’s Al Quaa and Gasyoura areas, while Dubai will reach a high of 46ºC. The capital city, Abu Dhabi, is forecasted to see temperatures around 47ºC. Despite the scorching heat, some regions will receive rainfall, providing some relief.
This extreme heat follows record-breaking temperatures earlier this year. Sharjah experienced temperatures surpassing 50ºC during the current dry summer phase. Additionally, Sweihan in Al Ain recorded the highest temperature in the UAE this year at 51.6ºC on May 24.
Authorities recommend:
- Taking safety precautions during peak heat hours
- Avoiding heat-related illnesses by staying hydrated
- Limiting outdoor activities, especially in the afternoon
The occasional rains in areas such as Khor Fakkan have provided a welcome respite for workers and residents.
